The New Releases here ran on TV for the first time over the weekend. Among the new releases, Cam Newton, replacing John Stamos as spokesman, urges "be unstoppably you" in an ad for Oikos Triple Zero yogurt; parents and kids hit the dance floor, aka their kitchens and living rooms, fueled by the power of Honey Nut Cheerios; and tough guys take on the night shift in Nissan's Titan trucks.
A decadent feast of Taco Bell items priced at $1 each is enjoyed by extravagantly dressed guests (including one woman with a gold headband made of forks), in a storytelling departure for the chain.
Finally, the search bar morphs into the shape of a cellphone in Google's minimalist spot announcing a new product -- what's said to be a new Pixel phone line -- to be released Oct. 4.
