Why not see who's advertising around the advertising coverage while you're at it?
Watch Last Night's New TV Ads From Bank of America, Mercedes-Benz and More
J. Wellington Wimpy Has a Smartphone. Who Knew?

Every weekday, we bring you the Ad Age/iSpot Hot Spots, new and trending TV commercials tracked by iSpot.tv, a company that catalogs, tags and measures activity around TV ads in real time. The New Releases ran on TV for the first time yesterday. The Most Engaging ads are showing sustained social heat, ranked by SpotShare scores reflecting the percent of digital activity associated with each one over the past week. See the methodology here.
Among the new spots, Bank of America shows "Popeye" cartoon character J. Wellington Wimpy -- the "I'll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today" guy -- happily (if improbably) using its mobile-banking app; Taco Bell mocks the Egg McMuffin in a commercial that Ad Age's Maureen Morrison previewed on Monday; and Jos. A Bank promotes a conservative, by its standards, half-off sale, which will surely come as a disappointment to the writers at "Saturday Night Live."
