In a sign of its plan to add more reality programming, Turner has named David Eilenberg to the newly created post of senior VP for unscripted development at TBS and TNT.

Mr. Eilenberg previously served as head of development and current programming for Mark Burnett Productions, where he worked on series such as "The Voice" and "The Apprentice." At Turner he will oversee all unscripted original programming for TBS and TNT, reporting to Michael Wright, president and head of programming for TNT, TBS and Turner Classic Movies.

TBS and TNT recently announced a big push into reality TV, green-lighting series including "Boston Blue" and "72 Hours" on TNT. That network premiered its first reality-competition series, "The Great Escape," at the end of June. TBS has green-lit shows with the working titles "King of the Nerds," "Dean Cole's Black Box" and "Who Gets the Last Laugh?"
