'TV Guide' relaunch

The changes, effective with the Oct. 17 issue, will render the listings digest a full-size magazine with fewer program schedules, more articles about celebrities and a guaranteed paid circulation chopped down to 3.2 million from 9 million. Mr. Crystal and Mr. Loughlin also worked together to develop the new celebrity title Inside TV.

Mr. Crystal joined Gemstar-TV Guide in December 2002 from Gruner & Jahr USA, where he oversaw titles including Inc. and Fast Company.
