Twitter Uses Pope Francis to Promote 'Moments' Feature in New TV Ads

The New Releases here ran on TV for the first time during the weekend. Among the new releases, Macy's releases one more spot in its Believe campaign, in which a girl uses her grant-wishing magic pen to transform a parking ticket into a holiday card. Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson promotes Bose headphones. And Honda shows the new 2016 Honda Civic drive directly out an engineer's head.

Verizon has a tie-in with the new "Star Wars" installment, meanwhile, showing that limited data plans can thwart Chewbacca's mission to save the galaxy from evil. Finally, Twitter enlists an unsual poster boy, Pope Francis, to advertise its curated news tweets feature, called "Moments," all part of its ongoing effort to refuel its user growth.
