Every weekday, we bring you the Ad Age/iSpot Hot Spots, new TV commercials tracked by iSpot.tv, the real-time TV ad measurement company with attention and conversion analytics from 10 million smart TVs. The ads here ran on national TV for the first time yesterday.

A few highlights: Apple Music promotes "Carpool Karaoke: The Series" ("coming soon") with a fast-paced stream of starstudded clips from the show (blink and you'll miss John Cena, Will Smith, Joe Jonas and others). A new KFC ad features the colonel -- the colonel -- plus a cameo appearance by a pretend colonel (Creativity's Alexandra Jardine has the backstory: "KFC's New Colonel Sanders Is the Old Colonel Sanders"). And an elderly gentleman decides to stick with his old-school, individually wrapped caramel candies -- instead of switching to new caramel M&Ms -- and he pays a terrible (and sticky) price.
