The Most Engaging ads are showing sustained social heat, ranked by SpotShare scores reflecting the percent of digital activity associated with each one over the past week. See the methodology here.
Among the new releases, beautiful half-naked people roll around in black and white for Calvin Klein, and for Kia, a cool dad supports his son's decision to quit his job and road-trip across the country in a new car.
"Star Wars" mania is already in full-form well ahead of the December release of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," and JC Penney is one of many retailers cashing in on nostalgia merch. The new spot features "Star Wars" shirts, sheets and, of course, a promotion. Also, Sirius/XM Satellite Radio follows up on its "Donuts" spot with "Tow Truck."
