Published on .

According to a new survey from Greenfield Online, 20% of parents of kids between the ages of 11 and 18 said their kids spend more time online than watching TV. The study of 1,350 online Americans, conducted in February, also found that nearly 75% of parents in online households allow their children to surf the Web in the home. In terms of monitoring online usage, 85% of parents with kids under age 11 oversee every click, while only 5% of parents with kids 16 and over do any online monitoring.
