Next 20 Years' lecture series winds up in San Francisco

Published on .

``The Next 20 Years'' lecture series, which kicked off in Chicago last April, winds up its international tour Oct. 28 when it stops in San Francisco. The San Francisco panelists include Ralph C. Merkle, Xerox PARC research scientist; Denise Caruso, New York Times columnist; and Michio Kaku, theoretical physicist and author. San Francisco series producer Bob Ayres founded the series as a way to bring together futurists and technology leaders to forecast what the year 2020 will be like. The lecture series will continue in 1999 with stops in London, New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
