24/7 buys Cliqnow!

Online ad network 24/7 Media is acquiring the Cliqnow! Sales Group, the Internet advertising representation division of K2 Design. 24/7 Media is purchasing the Cliqnow! division, which represents more than 75 Web sites, for $1 million cash and $3 million in 24/7 Media stock.

Cliqnow! will continue to operate separately, under the management of Scott Paternoster, president of the Cliqnow! division. Mr. Paternoster also will assume the title of senior VP at 24/7 Media. Some of the sites Cliqnow! currently represents include the Associated Press, Women's Forum and Wall Street Sports. K2 said it sold the division to focus on it core interactive agency business.
