The offices are 24/7 Mexico, Mexico City, 24/7 Brasil, Sao Paulo, 24/7 Argentina, Buenos Aires, 24/7 Peru, Lima, and a regional head office located in Miami.
Operating under the holding company 27/7 Latino, the offices will provide global sales for Latin American Web sites, offering advertisers a range of solutions including banners, sponsorships, e-commerce, direct marketing andmobile and digital ad solutions. About 28 million monthly Latin American impressions already are available for sale.
"In terms of Internet usage and online ad spend, Latin America is the world's fastest growing continent," says Xavier Jane, 24/7 Europe's deputy CEO, who has been establishing the new operations during the past three months.
The company predicts that online ad spend in the region will reach $59 million this year, with Brazil accounting for 40% to 45% of the market, Mexico for 20% to 25% and Argentina for around 10%. It estimates that next year the market will almost treble to around $170 million, rising to $1.9 billion by 2004.
