24/7 Media forms sales team to deal with convergence

24/7 Media, New York, has formed a nationwide advertising sales force focused exclusively on the convergence of TV and the Internet at the local market level. 24/7 Media has hired six new sales professionals who will report directly to Bruce Mello, senior VP-local market sales, to spearhead the selling of integrated multimedia packages in local markets. As announced in March, 24/7 Media Internet account managers will operate out of local NBC stations and in 24/7 Media's regional offices.
