First 24-hour Sudafed product

Alza Corp., Palo Alto, Calif., said Warner-Lambert Consumer Healthcare will market in the U.S. its Oros 24-hour pseudoephedrine nasal decongestant as Sudafed 24 Hour, the first 24-hour product in the Sudafed line of cold, sinus and allergy products. Alza said Sudafed 24 Hour will be introduced in the first quarter. Alza said it previously granted Pfizer rights to commercialize the product in more than 80 countries outside the U.S.
