Worldwide Partners is the new name for 3AI, an Aurora, Colo.-based network of 94 marketing-communications agencies. The name change is an effort to better communicate the network's global reach, said Patricia Fiske, president.

The group consists of mainly small- to medium-size agencies that want access to global resources for clients. It has members in 40 countries; combined billings top $3 billion.

This fall, Worldwide Partners announced a joint venture with Cincinnati media agency Media That Works, expanding the network's ability to plan and buy media.

Worldwide Partners members said their alliance with agencies from around the world is an alternative to multinational agencies.

Worldwide Partners can be reached at 2280 South Xanadu Way, Suite 300, Aurora, Colo. 80014-1330; the phone number is (303) 671-8551.
