4A's warns members against blind RFP

In an unusual move, the American Association of Advertising Agencies has sent out a letter cautioning agencies to be discerning when answering a questionnaire from Morgan Anderson Consulting for a $25 million to $60 million account. The RFP says the consultancy "has been engaged by a major U.S.-based client to conduct a data-gathering and long-list screening" process. In the letter to agencies, Four A's President-CEO O. Burtch Drake said: "I for one would be somewhat nervous about providing answers to these questions."
