Siemens, Duesseldorf, narrowed to five the contenders for a $50 million to $100 million global assignment for its mobile phones division. Still in the hunt are incumbent J. Walter Thompson Co., Frankfurt; Die Brut, Hamburg; Wieden & Kennedy, Amsterdam; and TBWA Worldwide and D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles, both Singapore-based. A decision is expected by the end of October.
