7-Eleven tries pagers

PageMart Wireless and 7-Eleven are testing the sale of pagers and wireless messaging in convenience stores. PageMart service combined with Motorola Pronto pagers make up the paging product offering in 670-plus stores in 7-Eleven test markets in Virginia, West Virginia and Maryland. 7-Eleven is promoting the 90-day test in Richmond and the Tidewater area of Virginia through radio contests handled by Brickell & Associates, Virginia Beach.
