(July 11, 2001) -- American Home Products has shifted its estimated $80 million-plus account for its Advil line of painkillers to Grey Global Group's Grey Worldwide, New York, and placed its estimated $12 million Dimetapp cough syrup account into review, a company spokesman said.

The accounts had been at WPP Group's Y&R Advertising, New York. A Y&R spokeswoman said other American Home Products business handled by Y&R was unaffected by the shake-up.

Grey already handles American Home Products' Robitussin brand. The American Home spokesman said the Dimetapp review is in the early stages, but he declined to cite any contenders.
