'95 good for Omnicom

Omnicom Group, New York, on Thursday reported a 26% increase in net income in 1995 over 1994, to $140 million. The agency holding company acquired Chiat/Day Holdings and Ross Roy Communications during the third quarter, and has accounted for those transactions in the financial statistics. Omnicom also owns BBDO and DDB Needham and other marketing properties.

Worldwide fee and commission revenues increased 18% to $2.26 billion in 1995. Domestic commission and fee revenues increased by 13% to $1.12 billion; international commission and fee income rose 24% to $1.14 billion.
