A-B cuts deal with NBC

Published on .

Anheuser-Busch cut a four-year, multimillion-dollar international ad deal with NBC that encompasses NBC Super Channel in Europe, NBC Asia and Canal de Noticias in Latin America, as well as NBC's partnership with Television Azteca in Mexico. The buy, effective in January, is A-B's first global ad deal with NBC. It also makes A-B the first advertiser to participate in NBC's Global Bonus Dividend program, an incentive system for advertisers who have committed to upfront buys for the 1995-96 broadcast season. NBC network advertisers participating in the program receive a coupon redeemable for the purchase of TV time on any combination of NBC's international properties, based on the size of their domestic purchases.
