A-B finalizes sponsorship

Anheuser-Busch is finalizing an eight-year mega-sponsorship of the U.S. Olympic Committee, but negotiations with NBC for an accompanying mega-ad buy on Olympics broadcasts is said to have been complicated by NBC's failure to renew its National Football League TV package. The media buy was to have included inventory in NBC's NFL games. A-B's Olympics sponsorship and ad buy could approach General Motors Corp.'s $1 billion pact with the USOC and NBC.
