A New CEO for MasterCard

In the midst of an $80 million creative review, MasterCard International said President-CEO H. Eugene Lockhart is leaving the company and will be succeeded by Exec VP Robert Selander. Mr. Selander also served as president of MasterCard's Europe, Middle East/Africa and Canadian groups. Mr. Lockhart, MasterCard CEO since 1994, is joining BankAmerica Corp. as president of its global retail bank.
