Levi Strauss & Co., not averse to using "guerrilla" tactics to advertise jeans, gets a taste of its own medicine from Northeastern retailer Daffy's. Adjacent to some Levi's boards featuring its red tag and stating how various designers wore the jeans -- for example, "Ralph wore them" -- Daffy's has placed similar-looking ads, with its logo as a blue tag plus a simple message about price. DeVito/Verdi, New York, created the outdoor campaign. Copywriter/art director: Sal DeVito.
