Published on .

Prudential Insurance Co. of America, Newark, N.J., said its new back-lit sign being erected atop the Two Times Square building at 48th Street and Broadway in New York will be turned on in time for the Times Square New Year's Eve celebrations. The 40-by-40 foot sign, one of the highest such signs in the Times Square area, is being put in place by Van Wagner Outdoor. The company said the sign, which features the Prudential rock logo, has a potential audience estimated at 1.5 million people a day.
