Four A's exec Paster dies

Harry Paster, a longtime executive at the American Association of Advertising Agencies, died on Sept. 26 in New York after battling cancer. Mr. Paster, 74, joined the Four A's in 1948, and from 1980-95 served as exec VP. In that role, Mr. Paster advised member ad agencies on issues such as benefit packages, contracts, succession plans, and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Paster retired from the Four A's in 1995, when he began a consulting business that he ran out of the Four A's New York headquarters.
