The Ad Age Group named Allison Price Arden to the new position of general manager-interactive business and custom programs, reflecting a commitment to its online properties.

Ms. Arden, 33, formerly director-business development, will oversee all aspects of the online business, product development and strategy for Adage.com, Adcritic.com, Madison + Vine and the group's other electronic properties.

"Our online business has grown significantly, including new product development," said Jill Manee, VP-publisher, Ad Age Group. "Allison's addition to the Ad Age Group's management team in this position will enable us to continue our growth and development of new products to better serve our markets."

Ms. Arden joined Advertising Age in January 1998 as a sales executive and moved into management positions, serving as advertising director for Ad Age from 2000 to 2002 before moving on to product development.
