[new york] Advertising Age and TheGlobe.com today are launching an online community aimed at advertising and media professionals.

Ad Age's Interactions offers registered AdAge.com users access to industry-related forums, live chats and personal home pages on the World Wide Web. The site replaces the current Interactions area on Ad Age's Web site; the new site can be accessed by going to http://adage.com and hitting the Interactions button.

"Advertising Age is extremely excited to join forces with TheGlobe.com on this venture, and we are confident it will quickly become the premier online community connecting agencies, marketers and media companies," said Edward R. Erhardt, Ad Age VP-publisher.
