AA PROMOTES JABEN TO INTERNATIONAL POST

Advertising Age announces that Jan Jaben, former editor of Ad Age's Business Marketing, becomes executive editor/international of Advertising Age and all related publications and online services, including Advertising Age International.

Ms. Jaben, 42, led a significant expansion of global coverage at Business Marketing, where she has served for the past three years. She is based in Chicago, headquarters of parent Crain Communications Inc. In her new role, she will continue to supervise international coverage for Business Marketing, as well as the World Wire daily online service.

"Jan has been a major help in expanding and reorganizing Ad Age's international coverage, and we look forward to her energetically bringing together all parts of our global coverage," said Editor Steve Yahn.

Laurel Wentz, 38, formerly European Editor and "Global Village" columnist, becomes deputy editor/international, based in London.

Ms. Wentz has been with Ad Age for 12 years, also serving as Latin American Bureau Chief in SÌo Paulo.

In addition, Judann Pollack, 36, becomes managing editor/international, based in Chicago. Ms. Pollack, formerly assistant international editor, has worked at Ad Age for 10 years. Prior to joining the international staff, she was a reporter in the New York bureau.

Todd Pruzan, 24, for merly editorial assistant, becomes international reporter. Mr. Pruzan joined Ad Age nearly two years ago from editorial associate at Chemical Processing in Chicago.

Ms. Jaben is succeeded as editor of Ad Age's Business Marketing by Chuck Paustian, former managing editor of the monthly publication. Mr. Paustian, 31, has been with Crain Communications for 10 years. Before joining Business Marketing, he was copy editor at sister publication Pensions & Investments.
