ABC, ESPN to televise Cal 500

ABC Sports, ESPN and Penske Motorsports have signed a multi-year agreement to televise the California 500, a NASCAR Winston Cup Series event, beginning in 1997. Under the agreement, ABC Sports will televise the California 500 from the new California Speedway near Fontana.

Mead Johnson markets calcium beverage in Canada
Mead Johnson has launched Calais, a fruit-flavored clear sparkling beverage that contains as much calcium as a glass of milk but only 6 calories per bottle. A TV, radio and print ad campaign from Harrod & Mirlin, Toronto, will break in June. Calais is available in raspberry, blackberry and mandarin orange flavors, and will be sold in food and drug stores, retailing for about 85 cents.
