Published on .

Stu Bloomberg was named chairman, ABC Entertainment, despite repeated denials to Advertising Age in the last few months that Mr. Bloomberg would be brought in to assist Jamie Tarses, ABC Entertainment's beleagured president. Mr. Bloomberg, a 19-year programming veteran at ABC, was most recently president, television creative development, New York. He will relocate to Los Angeles, where Ms. Tarses will report to him. Ms. Tarses, in a statement, said she is "looking forward to having someone alongside me in the hot seat."
