ABC News, Times partner to cover news

Published on .

ABC News and The New York Times said they will partner to cover news events via broadcast and the Internet. Starting Jan. 24, the news organizations will co-produce a daily 15-minute Webcast on www.abcnews.com and www.nytimes.com. The Webcast, called Political Points, will continue through the November presidential election and will provide specialized political coverage. ABC News and The New York Times also will work together to produce segments on technology and health for TV shows "20/20" and "Good Morning America." The segments will be branded as a co-production of both news organizations, which also are exploring developing segments on other topics.
