Deutsch, New York, resigned its $10 million-plus U.S. media buying and planning account for LVMH Moet Hennessey Louis Vuitton, New York, but retains planning and buying for the Louis Vuitton brand. Other LVMH brands include Christian Dior and Givenchy.

Sara Lee Corp.'s Champion Products, Winston-Salem, N.C., moved its $5 million to $10 million account to Long Haymes Carr, Winston-Salem, from TBWA Chiat/Day, New York, said executives close to the account. Long Haymes Carr, TBWA Chiat/Day and Champion could not be reached for comment.

Smart & Final, Vernon, Calif., a warehouse grocery chain, to Phelps Group, Santa Monica, Calif., for creative and Western International Media for media buying for its $5 million account. Effective Marketing Strategies, Marina del Rey, Calif., was the consultant. Italia/Gal, Los Angeles, was the incumbent.
