Color Tile, Fort Worth, Texas-based flooring retailer currently in Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, has moved its ad account to W.B. Doner & Co., Detroit, from Harris Drury Cohen, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., The change came after Southfield, Mich.-based Jay Alix & Associates, a firm that had relations with Doner, took over management of Color Tile. HDC reported billings at $40 million when it won the account last fall, but placed little work before the client filed for protection in December, said agency executives. HDC has laid off eight employees as a result of the move.

Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Miami, to del Rivero Messianu Advertising, Coral Gables, as first agency for its U.S. Hispanic marketing efforts. McKinney & Silver, Raleigh, N.C., handles the general market account.

Stride Rite Corp., Cambridge, Mass., to Toth Design & Advertising, Concord, Mass., from Kirshenbaum Bond & Partners, New York, for its $4 million Keds account.
