The Pep Boys-Manny, Moe & Jack, Philadelphia, moved its $20 million to $30 million media account from International Communications Group, Los Angeles, to Pro Media Inc., Needham, Mass. Cliff Freeman & Partners, New York, handles creative for the automotive parts retailer.

Texaco's Latin America/Caribbean/West Africa unit, based in Miami, is hearing presentations Tuesday and Wednesday from three agencies for its $20 million advertising account: Young & Rubicam, Miami, and Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi and D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles/Americas, both San Juan. Incumbent is Grey Advertising, San Juan.

Citing concerns over profitability in a proposed contract, Harris Drury Cohen, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has resigned the $4 million account of Fort Lauderdale-based Carnival Air Lines. At the same time, the agency has landed the $4 million account of Air South, Columbia, S.C., formerly at Marka Advertising, Columbia.
