Mr. Lee will be responsible for developing ACNielsen's TV ratings services following the acquisition last year of MSK, Korea's original TV ratings company. Mr. Lee will also have to fend off competition from TNS Media, which recently launched a second TV ratings service for South Korea.
Mr. Lee was previously a professor at Hongik University in Seoul, where he taught advertising and public relations. He has also worked at three ad agencies and two major newspapers here. "His knowledge and experience in media measurement will be invaluable as we build industry leadership into our media business," says Hugh Kwon, managing director, ACNielsen Korea.
