ACTV enhances media offerings through acquisition of Bottle Rocket

ACTV, an enhanced TV and interactive media provider, acquired Bottle Rocket, a New York-based developer and distributor of interactive entertainment products for the Internet. Bottle Rocket, which will retain its name and operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of ACTV, creates online entertainment based on proprietary technology engines for trivia, prediction, simulation, arcade-style and multiplayer games. Greg Easley will continue as CEO of Bottle Rocket. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
