[new york] AdCritic.com, the popular Web site for viewing new and noteworthy TV spots, relaunches today as one of Ad Age Group's online publications. Crain Communications, parent of Advertising Age, purchased AdCritic.com earlier this year. AdCritic will be associated with Creativity, Ad Age Group's monthly publication for the advertising creative community, and will feature daily news updates and commentary from Creativity staff.

"We see AdCritic as a tremendously effective new way to help our readers keep tabs on their industry," said David Klein, VP-publishing and editorial director, Ad Age Group. "Not only can they now see all the new creative TV work as it breaks, but we'll provide an invaluable news resource as well, reporting on everything happening in the world of creative trends, commercial production and TV advertising in general."

AdCritic will be offered to current paid subscribers of Creativity at no extra charge. It will be available to new subscribers for an introductory rate of $69.95 per year, which includes 10 issues of Creativity.

`ultimate'

"With its powerful database of spots, constantly updated news and commentary, AdCritic will again be the ultimate resource for people who must know what's happening now." said Jim Hanas, editor of AdCritic.com.

AdCritic.com, founded in 1999, led the industry into the online world of downloadable video and built up a library of thousands of digitized ads.
