[new york] Advertising Age announced the opening of a San Francisco office and the addition of two people to its sales force.

Lisa E. Hall joins as San Francisco sales representative, handling the Northwest territory for the Ad Age Group. She was most recently senior district manager for IDG/Network World Publishing Group, Sunnyvale, Calif.

"We are most excited to be expanding the West Coast coverage for the Ad Age Group," said Jill Manee, director of advertising and group sales. "Lisa's technology background will be an asset to the group."

Separately, Leslie R. Fox was named telemarketing manager in the Chicago sales office, overseeing all telemarketing functions for the group. She was most recently inside sales manager for Putnam Publishing's Plant Services, Chicago.

"We have tremendous growth opportunities in the telemarketing area for all our products," Ms. Manee said.

The new San Francisco office is located at 5 Third St., 94103.
