In addition to Advertising Age's other non-U.S. licensee publications that gathered entries for the Ad Age Best of 1998 competition (AA, May 31), Mercado of the Dominican Republic took part. And, as with the other countries, the Dominican entries were judged against their peers by a panel of Ad Age editors.

The winning entries in each media category, with the advertiser, entry and agency or other entrant cited:
