The focus of the debut event, aimed at multinational marketing and media executives, will be the growth and development of the Eastern European market. As part of the event, Advertising Age, Horizont, the FT and global consultants Booz Allen Hamilton will name a global "CMO of the Year."
"So many of our industry gatherings are national in scope, and we felt it was important to building a top-level marketing forum that reflected the global nature of our business," said David Klein, publishing director of the Ad Age Group.
