VANCOUVER, British Columbia--Ad agency designers are behind Canada's newest postage stamp, a special issue commemorating the upcoming Year of the Rabbit on the Chinese calendar. Ken Fung of Koo Creative Group, Vancouver, developed the overall design for the stamp, which features a prominent brush illustration of a rabbit by agency president Ken Koo. "The overall simple design generates a feeling of cleanliness, harmony and peace, while the illustration of the rabbit has a sense of strength and energy to it," says Mr. Koo, whose agency specializes in marketing to the Chinese community. Canada's Year of the Rabbit stamp will be available in both domestic and international demoninations on Jan. 8, well ahead of Chinese New Year.
