Ad Council reports big support

The Advertising Council received $891.6 million in donated media time and space during 1994, a 46% increase over 1993. Contributions from every media category increased, with TV showing the largest increase in support at 75%, followed by radio support at 58.2%, magazines at 53.6%, business press at 43% and cable support at 29.1%. Non-traditional and new-media support showed an estimated growth of 351%.
