Ad Council sees 21% increase in PSAs

The Advertising Council and the National Association of Broadcasters announced a 21% increase in the airing of Ad Council messages last year, with the biggest increase due to broadcast TV. The White House Office of National Drug Control Policy began buying TV ads nationally last July, and media companies are being asked to air one PSA for every paid ad aired. The Ad Council said PSAs rose 78% on broadcast TV.
