Get a Met Life

MET LIFE

http://www.metlife.com

WHAT'S THERE: Met makes full use of its association with Snoopy and the gang in this colorful site. Want advice on moving, planning for a baby or buying a car? It's all here, although much of it is repurposed marketing material. The site is somewhat difficult to navigate, even though there's a help guide. We wonder: why not just design the site so it doesn't require a help guide?

Clinique goes for clean

CLINIQUE

http://www.clinique.com

WHAT'S THERE: Clinique's trademark green stands out in this cleanly designed, classy site. Use the store locator or check out makeup colors. While much of this is also repurposed marketing material, Clinique does make some effort in creating a more timely site, including a monthly feature. The March issue highlights results from a study by Yankelovich Partners about growing older and looking good.
