The following corrections and amplifications concern data appearing in the Agency Report, April 21, 1997:

Lowe & Partners/SMS' profile should have listed Lee Garfinkel, co-chairman and chief creative officer.

Three TBWA agencies bear different names than reported: TBWA Lee Davis is the Shanghai shop; TBWA Fong Haque & Soh is its Singapore agency; Frederick & Valenzuela/TBWA is its Chile-an unit.

Figures for E-Co., a TBWA Amsterdam shop, bore three too many zeros; gross income should have read $39,264 on billings of $261,760.

Columns for two years of data were transposed for three J. Walter Thompson Co. agencies. In each case their country rankings should be one notch higher. JWT China had gross income of $10.6 million in '96, up 23.8%, on billings of $71.1 million; JWT Hong Kong had gross income of $18.5 million, up 4.3%, on billings of $123.4 million; JWT Manila had gross income of $10.3 million, up 22%, on billings of $68.4 million.


Omitted from the Agency Report were the following shops:

J. Brown/LMC Group, sales promotion subsidiary of Grey Advertising, had gross income of $15.5 million, up 18.9%, on billings of $103.4 million.

Blattner/Brunner, Pittsburgh, had gross income of $3.9 million, up 2.6%, on billings of $39.4 million.

Vickers & Benson, Toronto, had gross income of $19.7 million, up 25%, on billings of $131.2 million.

TBWA Graciotti Schonburg Navarro, Sao Paulo, had gross income of $776,317 on billings of $5.2 million; '96 start-up agency, TBWA Warsawa, had gross income of $327,055 on billings of $2.2 million.
