German sportswear marketer Adidas-Salomon, Munich, this week unveils its first global brand campaign for Adidas since last October. With the campaign, Adidas adds to its roster 180, the Dutch agency created by former executives from Nike roster shop Wieden & Kennedy. The campaign is designed to demonstrate Adidas' support for athletes at all levels from professional to amateur. The campaign was conceived by Larry Frey, 180's creative director. The account director is Chris Mendola, who formed 180 last year with Alex Melvin, who also worked on the Nike account in Wieden's Amsterdam office.
