Adidas launched its Adidas e-rena back-to-school promotion from L90, Los Angeles, aiming to drive consumers to thestore.adidas.com as part of an integrated campaign to increase the company's sales and customer acquisitions. The two-month promotion features ads on sites such as Alloy.com, FamilyWonder.com, iParenting, Sega.com, SportsHuddle.com and StarWars.com. When a consumer clicks on the promotion, the Adidas e-rena micro-site will launch, allowing visitors to interact with Adidas products and content within the host Web site. The Adidas e-rena micro-site will also launch automatically when a visitor enters certain targeted areas within these Web sites. New customers also have the option of referring friends and family using L90's proprietary viral marketing technology, L90 Link.
