Ads tout children's TV

Children's Television Workshop will advertise Sesame Street Parents and Sesame Street Magazine to adults in TV commercials to run during adult programs on network and cable channels. New York-based Lawrence Butner Advertising created and produced the 30- and 60-second spots. To date, the ads are scheduled to run on A&E, CNBC, Nickelodeon, Nick at Nite, The History Channel, the Sci-Fi Channel and the TV Food Network. The commercials feature Big Bird "morphing" from a TV screen and onto a page in Sesame Street Magazine.
