Advanstar calls off IPO

Published on .

Advanstar, Boston, announced it has stopped plans for an initial public offering. Chairman-CEO Robert Krakoff said shareholders put the plan on hold because they believe business-to-business communication company stocks are undervalued at the moment. Separately, Advanstar completed its acquisition of the trade show assets of the Larkin Group, including 16 shows in the fabric and textile industries.
