Advertising.com to license ad-serving technology

Online direct marketing company Advertising.com announced it is licensing its AdServe ad-delivery system to third parties, now placing it in competition with ad-serving companies such as DoubleClick and Engage Inc. The company also announced that interactive marketing company HotSocket will use AdServe to serve its client base.
